At EuroTier 2026 in Hanover we present two new developments: the MIK rubber inlet – an elastic comfort lying area that integrates directly into the MIK flooring system – and the electric volume dispenser BISTRO VD-ED for precise, demand-based feed dosing.

More lying comfort for the sow

The MIK rubber inlet adds an elastic comfort lying area for farrowing pens to the proven MIK flooring system. Non-slip, comfortable and perfectly integrated into the MIK flooring system.

The system, so far unique on the market, allows a rubber comfort surface to be integrated directly into the barn floor.

Promoting animal welfare

The rubber inlet supports the implementation of the requirements for comfort lying areas under the German federal programme for the conversion of livestock housing 2024 to 2030.

Electric volume dispenser – precise, demand-based feed dosing

The electric volume dispenser BISTRO VD-ED by MIK enables a controlled feed supply in different areas of pig farming.

An electrically controlled dosing unit dispenses dry feed as pellets or meal in small, predefined portions directly into the feed trough. Feed delivery is triggered by a sensor or a computer control and can be set individually in terms of dosing quantity and feeding intervals.
